This is a map and pick-up mod I made several years ago for Unreal and Unreal Tournament which incorporates many of the sights, sounds and atmosphere featured from the movie. It is basically a tropical island with a dock, front gate, lake, mountain peak and underground laboratory. There is also a camp-site with a couple of props as seen in the movie.
The actual Dinosaur models "Jurassic.u" were made by Astro (retro@iinet.net.au - http://jurassic.mpog.com) who did the original mesh work and 3d modeling.
The mod was later updated by Asgard. (asgard12000@iprimus.com.au - http://www.angelfire.com/empire/napaliand) who added supplemental code and sound effects.

The Lindstradt rifle was done by myself and was made specifically for this map alone.
The Jurassic mod also includes other dinosaur models as well. Not all dinosaurs were used in this map.
My original intention was to make a basic Jurassic Island map as a means of providing a show-case for all of Astro and Asgard's wonderful Dinosaurs, and I just sort of ran with it, (or ran away from it, as the case may be! :-))
Many of the textures, sound effects and music is sampled directly from the movie and (I feel) lends a very authentic and "true to the spirit of the film" feeling. I still get goose bumps sometimes playing this map and have on more than one occasion found myself standing in front of the gate and saying out loud, "I'm not going in there!" :-)
I hope you like playing Jurassic Park, as much as I did making it, "spared no expense".
